About me
I'm Antoine, engineer, entrepreneur, artist. I started my first solo software AfterCodecs in 2017 and have been running Autokroma.com since then. I'm responsible for everything at my company, from the first line of code down to every sentences interacting with the final user. I've been travelling as a digital nomad for 8 years, working remotely on the go while visiting the world, doing many sports and digital hobbies.
I'm looking for new software developers to help me improve Autokroma software. Recently I decided to stop hiring developers remotely. With a new office downtown Porto, my current goal is to create a good team, and have it, me and Autokroma grow all together.

Our mission is to make video editing professionals' daily lives easier. We developed 5 plugins for Adobe After Effects / Premiere Pro, used by thousands of professionals worldwide.

About you for the job
You have long experience editing with Adobe Premiere Pro and/or After Effects and/or DaVinci Resolve. You have an excellent memory and great English writing level, you can also speak oral English. You're ready to work for real, learn everyday new tools, procedures, programming tips, methods for organizing yourself the work.
You have an analytical mind and you're focused on solving problems given constraints that are both told to you but that you also gradually come to understand yourself by exploring the domain. You can read lots of text easily and follow instructions. You're self conscious about how your mind worked in the past and can iterate new ideas to change how you work.
You live around Porto to be able to come at least three days per week to the office. You will be able to work fully remotely for longer periods of time if everything goes correctly in our work together.
The work to be done
I expect you to learn what I'm teaching you fast so that we get S*** done, and move on more interesting projects / tasks. Your diplomas don't matter as much as being compatible to work together.
You will need to navigate video editing software, how users use them, how developers can use them, what our software can do, and troubleshoot all issues related to those interactions. You will help test Adobe software, our software, help in making documentation about our software products. You will do video editing work such as making video tutorials for our products, social media campaigns and small design works.
